WILLIE --his

restless, horse-trading medicine man. Willies mother died when
he was six years old, then he went to live at Grandmaws
farm. He attended a one-room school, where he first started writing
poetry and songs. Those childhood years on Maws
farm in the time of the great depression left indelible memories in
young Willies mind. The big gangster car-theft
conspiracy that came close to home. The story of a boy and his dog

Then Maw died when he was
only ten and life for Willie took some strange twists and turns even
before he left home and was out making a living at just 14 years old.
Working as bellhop and desk clerk in a
family owned hotel, he learned about girls, homosexuals, drunks, dope
addicts and big time politicians including a chat with the Prime
Minister.
After a time in the army at the end of
world war 11, he married a sweetheart, a beautiful girl with long
blond hair, and big blue-eyes, Irene was just 17 years old.
Following the footsteps of his rambling
daddy, Willie tells of a time on the road selling HOMEMADE medicine,
cooked on the kitchen stove.
His times among the Mennonite and Amish
selling medicine and buggy horses.
